Cooperating Raleigh Colleges, a 501c3 nonprofit, receives its funding from membership fees from the member institutions and from grants or fees from the City of Raleigh and State of North Carolina for operating the public access television station in Raleigh and the surrounding area.  It is also eligible for grants from foundations and individuals.  Its expenses cover the part-time salaries of two staff members, operations expenses for the education channel and expenses for cooperative programs.
