2016 Library Workshop

“Our Libraries: Preparing for Possibilities”

The 2016 CRC Library Workshop took place on July 28 with the theme “Our Libraries: Preparing for Possibilities.” The workshop attracted over 70 participants to Saint Augustine’s University’s Prezell R. Robinson Library. The possibilities that were featured included topics ranging from celebrating new technologies like 3D printing and current accessibility issues to the “old” world libraries also celebrate—showing off historical archives.

This year’s planning committee included Saint Augustine’s hosts Tiwanna Nevels and Frederick Sills, Jr.; Anita Young, Wake Tech; Greg Tourino, NC State; Nate Hellmers, William Peace; Jean Rick, Meredith; and Tom Clark, Shaw.
