William Peace University students who want to work in the sports world after graduation will soon have more opportunities.
That’s because the University is offering a new major in Sport Management starting in January 2025. The program was previously offered only as a minor.
“The program offers students a comprehensive foundation in the multifaceted aspects of the sport industry, while providing specialized knowledge tailored to the dynamic sport management field,” said Dr. Lynda Szymanski, vice president of Academic Affairs. “Through an innovative curriculum centered on immersive learning, this interdisciplinary program equips students with a diverse skill set needed to excel in various career paths within the sport industry. .”
