Hands-on learning in Asheville for ShawU students

Shaw University students Jemaine Snow and Linda Moore are interning at the Christine W. Avery Learning Center this summer. It’s the only Black-owned education center in Asheville.

The internship is paid and covers housing expenses. The opportunity was coordinated through the Shaw University Experiential Learning and Career Development Center.

The center, named after a Shaw University alumna, is operated by some of her relatives, several of them Shaw University graduates. See the full article here.
