What is immersive learning?
There are many definitions of the buzzword or phrase that’s spreading around college campuses.
Ask Michelle Corvette and be prepared to get a brief education on the learning tool that’s taken over William Peace University. When Corvette is done, her passion for the topic makes you want to sit in a classroom immediately.
“Our students are still gaining the knowledge,” said Corvette, said director of Faculty Development and Immersive Learning. “Then they get to practice that knowledge, usually immediately after. And so it’s great because it happens inside and outside our classrooms.”
